Raumati Beach School Uniform  

For reasons of equity, safety, school identity and image a uniform has been introduced for Raumati Beach Primary School.

The uniform is available for purchase from the uniform shop in the resource room behind the staffroom at the following times:
•    Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8.30 to 9.30 a.m.
•    Wednesday afternoons from 2.30 to 3.30 p.m.
•    If you are unable to come at these times, please call the school office and leave a message. The uniform coordinator will contact you to arrange a suitable time.

2010 purchases: The uniform shop and school office will be open on Monday and Tuesday 1st and 2nd February, from 09:00 a.m. until 12 noon for purchase of uniforms.

We recommend your children trying on samples available before you purchase.  Your orders will be processed on receipt of payment.  Payment options on the above dates are cash, cheque, Eftpos and credit card.  See the current price list below.

The mandatory uniform consists of:
•    Polo shirt - short or long sleeve, light blue with navy collar and RBS logo
•    Polar Fleece jacket - long sleeve, light blue with navy inserts and RBS logo
•    Navy skorts, culottes, shorts or trousers in navy, all with RBS logo
•    Sunhat - navy with RBS logo (compulsory in Terms 1 and 4)
•    Rain jacket (optional) – yellow with navy inserts

Policy for Shoes/Socks
Sandals, walking or sports shoes will be acceptable in black, navy or white (NO bright colours or labels).  NO platform or high heel shoes. NO jandals or other slip on shoes.

Socks can be either navy or white ankle socks.

Other Acceptable Items in winter will be:
•    Navy or white knee high socks and Navy tights or stockings are also acceptable.
•    Plain Navy polyprops (short or long sleeve) can also be worn underneath the polo shirts.

The FULL Raumati Beach uniform is compulsory for all Year 1 to Year 8 students, and all items must be Raumati Beach School uniform. 

Parents are responsible for maintaining the uniform to an acceptable standard.

The uniform must not be altered in any way except for hemming and fitting adjustments.

Financial assistance: If your family has concerns about financial hardship due to purchase of the school uniform, we encourage you to apply in confidence to the Principal for assistance. The school office also has readily available information on financial assistance from Work and Income (WINZ) for both beneficiaries and non beneficiaries.
