RBS’s Positive Play Policy – All students who participate in netball and their parents must read and sign our school's 'Positive Play Policy' (see Resources link).  Failure to adhere to the policy may result in your child losing their place on a team. 

Year 7-8 Trials – Trials will be held on Thursday 16 March from 3.15pm - 4.45pm and Saturday 18 March from 10am - 1pm.  

Years 3 – 6 don’t trial.  Trials are held in accordance with the RBS selection policy. (see Resources link).  Decisions are final and there will be no correspondence entered into with either players or parents by the selectors or the RBS Netball Committee. 

Netball Subs – Payment must be made by 31 March - 

Year 2 - $30 for term 1 and $30 for term 3, Year 3 – 4 - $70.00 for the whole season and Year 5 – 8 - $85.00 for the whole season. 

Location – All games across all years are held at the Kapiti courts at the Te Atiawa Courts Centre, Percival Road, Paraparaumu. 

Cancellations – All cancellations are posted on the Kapiti netball website http://www.netballkapiti.org.nz/. Please check there first before contacting a coach or coordinator. 

Year 2 – Held in term 1 and term 3 on Wednesdays from 4pm – 5pm. Term 1 commences 15 March and goes for 5 weeks until 12 April. Information about term 3 will come out closer to the time. There are no uniforms but proper footwear is required. We have 3 star helpers Georgia Wiseman, Kylie Collins and Nicola McGregor who will support the girls each Wednesday. The Year 2 coordinator is Betsyn McHardy (0212475004) if you have any questions. 

Year 3 – This 5-a-side program is held on Wednesdays from 4pm – 5pm. It commences on 10 May and runs for 9 weeks until 5 June. There are no uniforms but proper footwear is required. We have star helpers who will support the girls each Wednesday. Team lists will be issued shortly. The Year 3 coordinator is Adam Southwick (021547946) if you have any questions. 

Year 4 – This 5-a-side program is held on Saturday mornings. It commences on 6 May and runs until 5 August. There are no uniforms but proper footwear is required. We have xx star helpers who will support the girls each Wednesday. Team lists will be issued shortly. The Year 4 coordinator is Adam Southwick (021547946) if you have any questions. 

Year 5 – This new 6-a-side program will be held on Saturday mornings. It commences 6 May and runs until 26 August. There is no grading day. Players must wear the RBS netball top and proper footwear but can choose to wear shorts or leggings (no colour restrictions). Team lists will be issued shortly. The Year 5 coordinator is Susan Reid (0272479859) if you have any questions. 

Year 6 – This program is still the 7-a-side game. This is the last year it will be played with Year 6 moving to the 6-a-side program in 2018. Games will be held on Saturdays (morning to early afternoon). It commences on 6 May (with grading 8 April) and runs until 26 August (2 and 9 Sept are rain reserve days). Players must full wear full RBS netball uniform and proper footwear. Team lists will be issued shortly.  The Year 6 coordinator is Donna Leigh (0277334300) if you have any questions. 

Year 7-8 – This program is, and will remain, the 7-a-side game. Games will be held on Saturdays (morning to early afternoon) at Te Atiawa. It commences on 6 May (with grading 8 April) and runs until 26 August (2 and 9 Sept are rain reserve days). Players must full wear full RBS netball uniform and proper footwear.
