Scale A Teacher (Fixed Term) Commencing Term 1, 2022. 
We are seeking to appoint a Year 5 & 6 Scale A teacher for 2022. This position is to cover for an existing staff member, who will be on parental leave for 2022.

The successful teacher will actively involve themselves with their students.  A thorough understanding of planning and assessment are a must, as well as being able to meet deadlines.   We are a school that uses restorative practice and successful applicants are expected to work within this philosophy.

We are looking for someone who has a “spark.” The ability to plan effective and engaging programmes and use  current assessment practices are a must.  Strengths in PE, Health, and EOTC are desirable. We are a school that uses restorative practice and successful applicants are expected to work within this philosophy.

Raumati Beach School Learning Support Position
Part Time - Fixed Term commencing Monday 1st November Term 4 2021 or upon negotiation.   This job will roll into 2022.
We are seeking applicants to join our Raumati Beach School Learning Support Team who have had specific experience in teaching and working with neurodiverse children with complex needs.  This could be a job share or a job for one person. When applying please indicate your availability.
This position will be;
  • 5.5 hours on Mondays and Tuesdays. 
  • 4 hours on Wednesday and Thursdays. 

Our Learning Support Team works closely with students and whanau within our school community, professionalism & confidentiality is a must.  This role will require the applicant to be physically fit and strong.  We are looking for someone who has a calm and caring nature who is willing to learn. While not a compulsory requisite if  you have had experience using PODD Talker and hold a current First Aid Certificate we would love to hear from you. Although we are wishing for an immediate start, the start date can be negotiated as soon as the right applicant is found.
